The plan was simple. Buy limited Jordan 4s at retail $200. Sell for $600. Profit $400. The shoes arrived. I held them. I smelled the box. I looked at the colorway. I told myself just one wear. I wore them once. You cannot sell worn shoes. I told myself I would clean them and sell. I cleaned them. I wore them again. I now own 11 pairs of "investment" sneakers worth $3,200 that I will never sell because I love them. Rent is due. 🙏
