Spent $2,000 on a figure that is now in a box I am afraid to open

I ordered a 1/4 scale figure of my favorite character. $2,000. It arrived. The box is beautiful. I cannot open it because opening it would make it used. I have been staring at the box for 6 weeks. Meanwhile I cannot afford new shoes. My current shoes have a hole. It rained yesterday. My sock is still damp. The box is perfect. Please help my sock. 🙏
